SAE J1772 Type1 EV Charging Cable

It can charge all EVs manufactured in the USA correctly and effectively with high compatibility in accordance with the regulations and requirements of SAE J1772 Standard 2012.

Using a riveting pressure process, no screws, beautiful appearance. The hand-held design conforms to the ergonomic principle, and plugs in conveniently. To prevent direct contact with the hand, the head of the pins is designed with insulation. According to the actual demand, the customer can install the charger indoors or outdoors. The charger can be securely locked to the installation backplane for theft prevention.

XLPO is used to insulate the cable to extend the aging life. The TPU jacket improves the bending life and the resistance to wear of the cable. Complies with the latest European Union standards and is the best material on the market today.

IP55/NEMA 3R Protection Rating

The type 1 EV Plug has special internal waterproof protection performance, protection grade achieved IP55/NEMA3R (working condition). The shell can effectively insulate the water from the body and enhance the safety level even in bad weather or special circumstances.  This rating offers excellent protection from moisture, dust, and dirt. This plug, when combined with the matching cover, provides a second layer of protection.

As mentioned above, it’s not recommended to buy just the connector, as the connectors use the pressure riveting process with a professional riveting machine. If you don’t have same equipment and well-trained workers, this will increase difficulties and failures during manufacturing.

If you are a supplier of power cable, you can deliver your cable to our factory and we will do all the assembly work for you. We have some big cable customers who do the same. We assist in solving the production and quality issues.
